On May 31, join us for an unforgettable event that explores Black music in anime & Japanese jazz. This brand-new musical venture will be part anime screening, part concert and part discussion that highlights the dynamic fusion of two cultures.
Kjazz Tracks at Union Station
Three energetic performances will bring an unforgettable evening of live jazz music to the heart of Downtown Los Angeles during Jazz Appreciation Month on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 7:30-11pm in the Union Station Historic Ticket Concourse.
Grammy-nominated musician, emcee, singer, producer and drummer Kassa Overall will headline, with multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator Isaiah Collier, and vocalist and performer Darynn Dean also on the bill. KJazz DJ Rhonda Hamilton will host and serve as emcee.

NeueJazz is a music residency program inviting the finest emerging jazz talent to perform. Musicians in residence organize an open session for friends and fellow artists to enjoy.
